SPIRIT SOUND AND CORRUPTION OF MUSIC

Praise God and hello to all who have been reading and following my blogs from around the world! I want to just take a moment to say hi and welcome these countries who have been reading the blogs.

Praise God and welcome to the following parts of the world:

United Kingdom-Malawi-Nigeria-Australia-United Arab Emirates-Poland-Kenya-India-Indonesia-Chile-Colombia-Latvia-China and other's I have not mentioned.

What is really great about all of the different countries from all around the globe is the style and selection of great music. We all have our own unique way that we make music but some may not like your particular style of music. Our ears hear music differently than others and may not like the same sound. Here in the United States are sound is somewhat divided. Black Americans love music with funky bass lines while Caucasians love music with a heavy metal and stringy riffing guitar sound located on the treble clef scale. All over the world there are different musical standards and scale points but all use their gifts to create and enhance the music to new heights and varying degrees. The simplicity of great detail is astounding that often times has others trying to either mimic or make better. The sound of music can be so powerful and soul affecting that it can move you to places spiritually both good and bad.

We all know that there were and still are great music composers.

Wolfgang Amadé Mozart-Ludvig van Beethoven-George Gershwin-John Adams-Quincy Delight Jones, Jr. and a host of others.

You just wonder how are they able to create music of that high caliber? It is so amazing at how they are able to piece music together to come up with a great sound where it moves people! There are also those who play various instruments including the trumpet, flute, baritone, violin, guitar, french horn, drums and other percussion instruments, and piano/keyboards. There are people who are so gifted in playing those instruments.

We've talked about the music composers and the gifted people making the instruments sound amazing but I want to talk about the gifted singers. You have the band playing while the singers or singer is singing but have you ever heard a gifted singer sing A Capella? Take the instruments away and you are so blown away by the pipes that the singer has! There is a secular singer who grew up singing in the church that has a God given awesome voice! Her name is KeKe Wyatt and man if she was just living and singing for Christ she would be just dynamite! I've listened to her singing A Capella and I was so blown away by that God given voice! There are many, many other's who have come and gone that had great singing voices and instrument playing skills. Through out the centuries music has changed in many different ways with much creativity for new music and a much more improved sound. Unfortunately, music has been corrupted and it is not something that just happened recently but it is something that has been going on for a long time now.

There are many people who just don't know who or how music got started but I can tell you right now who started music and who is the greatest music composer of all time. The answers is GOD!!!! God is the sole creator of music. He is the music master. God is the music General! God is the song writer! God created all things!

Colossians 1:16

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

I bet you didn't know that God can also sing? I know the bible doesn't say that but God doesn't list every single detail in the word because there is not a book big enough. How do I know that the Lord God can sing? Because He told me but it's also spiritual common sense as well. God is the one who gave us the gifts to sing and play instruments so with that being said how can God give us that gift without having it himself? God is all knowing right? God created us right but then there are many who believe that we came from apes but I will pray for those people! God also created us in his image or likeness.

Genesis 1:27

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

God created music for us along with the heavenly host to praise Him.

Revelation 14:3

3 and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Psalm 98:5

5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
    with the lyre and the sound of melody!

Psalm 95:2

2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
    let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

Psalm 105:2

2 Sing to him, sing praises to him;
    tell of all his wondrous works!

Psalm 150:1-6

150 Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound;
    praise him with lute and harp!
4 Praise him with tambourine and dance;
    praise him with strings and pipe!
5 Praise him with sounding cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

God created music and blessed us with beautiful voices to sing praises to Him. Many of us are so quick to sing love songs to someone we think we are in love with but can't even sing love songs to God! Sad because God blessed us with gifts of music and I know some have not developed or discovered that gift yet but we go and use God's gift for someone else. If the person you love gave you a beautiful ring would you take it to use to marry someone else? If someone blessed you with a beautiful vacation trip to the Islands would you let someone else use it?

Just in case you didn't know or simply forgot, God created Satan (Lucifer)! It was believed that Lucifer was a praise and worship leader but I don't have any factual proof on that but I know he could sing. I know this because everyone in heaven sings praises to our Father. There is also a verse that talks about Lucifer having pipes in him.

Ezekiel 28:13

13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

What I understand from it he played some type of musical percussion instrument with singing included.

Ezekiel 28:12-18

Satan's Fall

12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God:

“You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,

Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

I believe that when Lucifer was cast down out of heaven already having the knowledge and abilities to sing and play instruments with knowing that music was created by God for God, he set out to corrupt music. Why would Satan set out to corrupt music? The reason is that Satan hates God and hates anything and anyone who praises and glorifies God so he will do whatever it takes to put a stop to it. If it means corrupting music with turning it evil he will do it. Satan really hates God and is mad at him when he shouldn't be mad at God because Satan brought it all on himself! Have you ever been fired from a job and you were mad at the boss? Chances are it was your fault. Many of us do things that causes us to get in trouble at work but want to be mad at the one who finds us out. There is a lady that I know who I was talking to several weeks ago and boy she was so mad. I asked what's wrong. She said Todd would you believe that the job placed me on final warning for a entire year and I can't be late or mess up period because if I do then I will be fired! I asked why what happened? The lady said that she was caught stealing a slice of American cheese! Why get mad and blame others for our ungodly deeds?

Music is very, very spiritual on both ends. There is the good spiritual and the bad spiritual. Music carries a spirit and it was design to carry the Spirit of God! Through corruption Satan has made his mark in the music industry. Let's look first at the instrumental part without the singing. If your spiritual ears are open you will be able to hear the spirit of Satan in it. If you've ever heard rock'n roll or heavy metal music it sounds like someone's brains are getting beat out or demons screaming with that high pitch guitar! It sounds if though someone is getting shredded! What about rap music? A lot of rap music sounds like many demons jumping up and down on the souls of people while partying! Now let's talk about the lyrics to some of the music of today. People are either singing or raping about having illicit sex, F... that puss_, homosexuality, robbing, stealing, being a real KILLA, getting tore up, drugs and smoking a joint, hate, murder while getting on stage being as nasty as they want to be calling themselves Jesus or eluding to it with changing a letter in the name. They are accepting their grammy or other music awards in front of a world wide audience on the mic giving their acceptance speech and having the nerve of Satan himself to thank God for making it possible to received this award! They really think that they are thanking God but they don't realize that they are really thanking god, their own god which is the god of this world. Satan!

2 Corinthians 4:4

4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

There are so many famous singers today that the world just worships day and night like Beyounce, Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Lopez, Justin B. They worship rappers like Sean P. Combs, Jay-Z, and a host of others that don't even live for Christ but when they are being interviewed they act like they are holy by saying yeah I grew up in the church and I know the song "His eyes is on the sparrow". The truth of the matter is that they don't know God but they do know of God so there is a difference. Parents who have not grown up yet that are in their 40's like I am or older still listen to that garbage called music and bring it into their homes around the children allowing them to listen to it which is ushering those demons into their home. Remember music carries a spirit and the wrong spirits are getting off into our children. Often times when I'm out and about driving or walking around LA I see young people with their Skull Candy or Beats by Dre headphones on. I notice that they look like zombies! Its like they are in a trance or something. This is in no way making fun of anyone but I am telling the truth. It looks like their soul is gone. Sometimes when I walk to the food market on my block and I live in a very nice area there will be someone just sitting on the railing with headphones on chanting some crazy sounding lyrics. When I hear them to me it sounds like the devil is chanting those lyrics. Satan makes music according to his liking because his plan is to steer people far away from God as possible. He will make the music sound so good that people will keep coming back to listen to it over and over again with wanting to continue to purchase music from that same artist who doesn't know God at all. That is how Satan keeps people trapped. Once you are under his spell he has complete control over you unless you decide to listen to the voice of God inside of you to repent and come to know Him.

1 Timothy 6:10

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Let's talk about these record companies who don't care anything about your soul but as long as you're alive they will make millions off of you! They don't care how much you curse and swear but they just want you to be good enough and swear enough to bring them a fat check! If you die there is always someone there to replace you because they are not going to lose money just because you went ahead and died! Chances are after you have gone to hell from making millions of dollars with being a bad influence on people and children all over the world causing them to fall and sin, the record labels are making more money off of you because your sales have blown up from the world of idol worshipers running out to the stores to get your last album.

You need to know that Satan has not just stopped at corrupting music in the secular field but also in the Christian world! Many Christian artist have a strong love for money with record companies not wanting the name of Jesus mentioned. With that being said, many Christian artist will compromise the gospel, their faith for millions! There are also people who have had a hard time breaking into the secular world of music so they decide to go through the gospel artist tunnel as a short cut. Once they get in the gospel world of music then they can easily cross over and play both gospel and secular worlds because they know that the world will accept them and that the so called Christians will accept them as well thinking that not only their music is golden but the gospel artist is a true man or woman of God when they are not but lukewarm.

Revelation 3:15-17

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Now days this music that is called gospel or Christian sounds just as secular or worldly as the rest. Many of them cater to the world and try to keep up with the worldly style of music just so they can sell their music. They don't hear from God even though he is talking to them but they want to hurry up and make money because they have no patience. They are not even truly telling people how to live for Christ and how to live Holy. They are not teaching people through music on how to stay out of hell. I don't hear true praises and I don't hear true worship in this music that they call gospel. I'm sure that there are some still standing that is singing to Christ and God bless the true Christian artist who's number one focus is to please God and not man. I love true praise and worship music and one of my favorites is a lady by the name of Grace Williams. Me and my wife and little boy sit and soak to her music and can feel the Holy Spirit moving!

Here on a sad note there are many musicians/singers who wanted to make it big in the secular music world that they have actually turn their soul unto Satan. Satan took some of these people high above the earth into the second heaven with giving them the option to serve him if they want to become famous and make millions or to decline the offer. Many took the offer.

The list goes on and on but please know this: If you compose music, sing with playing instruments, don't let the love of money cause you to fall but use your gifts from God to praise and worship Him. It is sad to have these music videos showing sexual content similar to a so called soft porn video! We have to stop allowing this garbage that the world calls music from coming into our homes. Music makes people feel good and often times motivates them to commit crimes and just be out right evil acting! When you are listening to hate music all day or sexual music blasting in your ears you are likely to act on either one of those things. If you are a gospel artist please be sure that you are trying to enter into the Christian music industry because you truly love Christ and that you want to get a message out to the whole world on how to walk and live a true Christian God filled life. Just know that if you are doing it for money, popularity or anything else, you don't really have true love for Christ.

You really need to pay attention to this music and allow God to open up your spiritual ear to be able to distinguish what spirit and sound you are listening to. Stop running to the stores to get the latest and hottest music cd by these secular artist who end up in the news for some drama! All you are doing is giving Satan your money while he is sending demons to come inside of to keep you hooked on his music so your sights won't be on God! Also be aware of some of these people who claim to be Christian artist who claim to love God. Their music is more about them than Christ because you don't hear the name of God being mention much. If they truly love Christ then they would stay out of these Beyounce and Prince concerts! I'm sorry but why does a Christian feel the need to go to a secular concert with all of those foul and ungodly spirits there with no focus on God but worshiping the singer?
