PSALMS 122
1 I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built like a city
that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.
7 May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.”
8 For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your prosperity.
The Holy Spirit placed in my heart to blog about Jerusalem, Israel sometime back but has released me to do so now. Many don't believe that Israel is a big deal with many Christians just seem to ignore it because they still don't understand the true meaning of Israel and the great significance of the Holy Land. We are living in the day and age when the world is going through so much turmoil with being turned upside down and inside out. Satan has been trying to rock this world every since he was shot down from heaven by the GREAT GOD ALMIGHTY!
LUKE 10:18
He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
GENESIS 3:1-6
1Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
We are allowing Satan to corrupt our minds by the way we think and process information. What I mean is we see what is going on around us which is the obvious evidence right there in our face but don't bother to listen to the Spirit of God to uncover the revelation of current events. When we see the obvious and ignore it then there is a problem. One of the reasons that I can think of at this time is that when something doesn't interest you then you just flat out ignore it. The things that seem less interesting could very well be the portal to eternity. Eternity is never ending, ongoing without ceasing and is the real and true reality and not a show.
ISRAEL THE HOLY LAND - was given to Abraham after he demonstrated faithfulness by leaving his family while taking his nephew Lot to a foreign land.
GENESIS 13:14-15
14 The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. 15 All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.
The blessings of Abraham was passed down through the generations which included Jacob by his father Isaac, the son of Abraham. If you read Genesis 27:29, 32:28 it will tell you that Jacob had a name change to Israel which means, "he who strives with God". Do you strive with God? The land and everything is blessed through Abraham. If you still don't understand then please read the entire book of Genesis to get an idea of the whole build up to that point. Can I be honest with you? I really don't think many Christians here in the United States care for Israel. I believe that with my whole heart. Why? Many people claim to like or love Israel but don't even truly support the Holy Land. Me and my family love the Jewish people and want you all to know it. I love the Jewish people of Israel and abroad!
Israel and the Jewish people must be tired of the ongoing persecutions that stood against them over the centuries! Dating back to the book of Esther in the bible it talks about the young orphan girl name Esther whose Jewish name is Hadassah and how she found favor in the kings eyes. Esther was made queen by Ahasuerus who was the King of the Persian empire. Esther did not let on to anyone that she is Jewish. Mordechai, who is the cousin of Esther and also adopted her after her parents died was also Jewish. The Prime Minister of the Persian empire name Haman really didn't like Mordechai at all because when Haman tried to get him to bow down to him, Mordechai refused! Prime Minister Haman found out that Mordechai was Jewish and got very upset letting Satan rise up in him causing him to plot to have not only Mordechai killed but all of the Jews in the Persian empire! Eventually Haman was hanged. Let's not forget about the tragic Holocaust from 1941 to 1945 when Satan rose up in Hitler killing over 6 million Jews!

Earlier I gave you scripture regarding God blessing Abraham and the Jewish people the Holy land but for whatever reason our current leaders in office are in a move to push Israel to divide itself with the Palestinians. Right now they control the Gaza strip with looking to control more of the land. God tells us to love everyone so we must love all no matter what side of the gate we stand on. That being said Israel will go undivided and undefeated! We must really understand that Israel belongs to God and that we must stand with Israel. Standing with Israel is standing with God. Those who don't stand with God will have to answer to the Lord Almighty. I like what the word of God says about this.
JOEL 3:2 (dividing the land)
I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment upon them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have parted my land,
GENESIS 12:2-3
I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
There is one thing that I do know about Israel and that is it's under the protection of the Great God ALMIGHTY! God has appointed the angel Michael to watch over and protect Israel.
DANIEL 12:1
At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.
Michael is the warring angel (Dan 10:13, Dan 10:21, Jude 9, Rev 12:7). The land is Holy and filled with many miracles that take place on a daily basis. There are many open portals from heaven where God is sending angels to carry out specific assignments. In 1948 Israel became a great nation and after that more Jews were heading back to their home land. Many of them did not realize that God was calling them back home for the sole purpose of preparing the land for the great return of our Lord Jesus! You must know and understand that the state of Israel is so important because when Christ returns, we will live there! Yes you heard me right! The Lord will set up his great millennial kingdom where Christ will rule and reign for 1000 years in Jerusalem. Let's see what the bible says about this:
REVELATION 20:1-7
20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain [a]in his hand. 2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. 7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison.
I want to bring up another very important project that God has called the Jewish people to perform and that is the rebuilding of the Temple. According to one Jewish Rabbi Nachman Kahane, said that everything is ready to build the temple now. This was stated back in February of 2012 and that bible prophecy is being fulfilled.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
MATTHEW 24:15
5 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
The fact is that the temple will be rebuilt before the return of Christ and it has to be according to bible prophecy. Now that we know that the rebuilding of the temple is in place and will be at the Temple Mount where currently the Israeli police don't allow Jews to pray there and will arrest them if caught. With the biggest question being asked for centuries, when will Jesus return? We usually respond by saying soon right? How soon? This is what we do know:
ROMANS 11:25
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
When the total or full number of Gentiles (nations/me and you) are saved and only God knows that number then the return of Christ will come. Another eye opener to know that Christ is near is that more and more Jews are converting and giving their life to Yeshua God! Everything is centered around and inside of Jerusalem, Israel and is the most important place on the earth. Jesus will soon return and step foot in Jerusalem and stand on the Mount of Olives! Get ready and be ready for the return of our GREAT Lord Christ Jesus THE GREAT GOD ALMIGHTY!!
ZECHARIAH 14:4
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
